GAIL has announced the recruitment of graduate engineers for the posts of Executive Trainee (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Business Information System/Telecom/ Telemetry) through GATE 2016. Candidates with valid GATE 2016 scores will be considered. The online Applications will be available from December 22, 2015 to January 29, 2016.

Details of Vacancies:
The name of the posts and the number of vacancies are as mentioned below:

1.  Executive Trainee (Chemical) - 14 Posts    
2.  Executive Trainee (Mechanical) - 13 Posts    
3.  Executive Trainee (Electrical) - 13 Posts    
4.  Executive Trainee (Instrumentation) - 06 Posts    
5.  Executive Trainee (Business Information System) - 11 Posts    
6.  Executive Trainee (Telecom/ Telemetry) - 10 Posts    

Pay Scale: 
1. During the first year training the selected candidates are offered the basic pay of Rs. 24, 900. 
2.On successful completion of their Training cum Probation Period, the selected candidates will be absorbed in the same Pay Scale of E-2 Rs. 24900 - 50500/-.

Age Limit: As on 29/01/2016, the applicant’s age should not be above 28 Years. 

Age Relaxation:
 05 years for SC/ST candidates
 03 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. 
 10 years for PWD-General, 13 years for PWD-OBC (NCL) and 
 15 years for PWD-SC/ST candidates.

 It is to be highly noted that GAIL will be utilizing Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering - 2016 scores (GATE-2016 - Scores) for recruitment of Executive Trainees in the disciplines of Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Business Information System (BIS) and Telecom/ Telemetry during the year 2016.
